On May 28, 2005, at the Holy Trinity Chapel in the Shrine of Our Lady of Licheń, Archbishop Stanisław Gądecki, Ordinary of Poznań, ordained to priesthood three perpetually professed members of the Congregation of the Marians (the Divine Providence Province): Deacon Grzegorz Leszczyk, Deacon Adam Stankiewicz, and Deacon Grzegorz Tanderys.

Seven newly ordained priests will be graduating this year from the Marian Major Seminary in Lublin. One of them — Marek Martiszka — is a Slovak who was ordained on April 30, 2005, by the General Vicar of the Diocese of Nitra at the Church of Our Lady Nativity in Omsena (Slovakia).

The other three are Belorussians: Aliaksandr Zharnasek, Andrei Sidarovich, and Aliaksandr Shamrytski. They were ordained on June 11, 2005, by Bishop Władysław Blin, Ordinary of Vitebsk, at the Shrine of Marian Martyrs in Rosica, Belarus. The newly ordained priests will be doing their pastoral work in their native countries, with the exception of Fr. Grzegorz Leszczyk who is going to our African missions after completing a one-year French course in Paris.
