 Latvia
Established as a Province
under the patronage of St. Theresa of the Infant Jesus in 1940,
Latvia is still healing from the wounds inflicted upon it during
World War II. The Province maintains four religious houses and
residence. Latvian Marians are mainly involved in parish work,
giving catechetical instruction in schools, working in hospitals,
and assisting at a youth center.
