United States of America

Presently there is just one Marian Province in the United States. It is called the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of Mercy Province, and was created on October 19, 2006, as a result of unification of two Provinces: St. Casimir, founded in 1930, with its headquarters in Chicago, Ill., and St. Stanislaus Kostka, established in 1948, with its headquarters in Stockbridge, Massachusetts. The Marians in the United States are dedicated to promoting devotion to Our Lady’s Immaculate Conception and to The Divine Mercy. They are involved in parish ministry at several parishes in Illinois, Wisconsin, and Alaska. One of their members is an army chaplain, and one – a native of Ghana – serves in that country. Members of the Province also operate missions in Argentina, serving there in pastoral ministry, youth ministry, religious education, and schools.
