It is with great sorrow that we report the death of Fr.\u00a0Tadeusz Antoni Wyszomierski,\u00a0MIC, that occurred in the afternoon of July\u00a031,\u00a02012, as a result of a car accident. Father Tadeusz was a member of the religious house in G\u00f3ra Kalwaria \u2013 Marianki, a professed religious for 40\u00a0years, and a priest for\u00a037.<\/p>\n

The solemnity of Christian burial will take place Monday, August\u00a06,\u00a02012:
\n\u2022 The Rosary will be recited at 11:00\u00a0am in the Church of Our Lord\u2019s Cenacle, at Fr.\u00a0Tadeusz\u2019s coffin;
\n\u2022 Holy Mass of funeral will be celebrated in the parish church at 2\u00a0Ks.\u00a0Sajna Street.<\/p>\n

Merciful Lord, grant that Your servant, Tadeusz the priest, who in his earthly life was honored by Your holy mission, may eternally rejoice in the glory of heaven. Through Christ Our Lord. Amen.<\/i><\/p>\n

Curriculum vitae<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Father Tadeusz Antoni Wyszomierski,\u00a0MIC, son of Stanislaus and Jadwiga (nee Oleszczuk) was born on February\u00a011,\u00a01950, in Soko\u0142\u00f3w Podlaski. After graduating in\u00a01969 from high school in Soko\u0142\u00f3w Podlaski, he applied for admission into our Congregation. As a candidate for priesthood, he was sent to the Marian House of Studies in Lublin. Upon completing the two-year course in theology at the Marian Seminary in Lublin, in\u00a01971-1972 he made his novitiate in Sk\u00f3rzec, where, on August\u00a015,\u00a01972, he also made his first religious profession. In the following years he completed his theological study in Lublin, also making his perpetual profession in G\u00f3ra Kalwaria \u2013 Marianki on August\u00a015,\u00a01975. On June\u00a05,\u00a01976, Bishop Boleslaw Pylak ordained him to the priesthood at the Lublin cathedral.<\/p>\n

Sk\u00f3rzec was Fr.\u00a0Tadeusz\u2019s first pastoral post, where he served as a catechist and an assistant in pastoral work. Transferred to Grudzi\u0105dz in\u00a01978-79, he performed similar duties there. In\u00a01979-82 he served in the Provincial Office of Vocations located in Praga, a neighborhood of Warsaw. In\u00a01982, Fr.\u00a0Tadeusz was transferred to Liche\u0144 to serve as a parish vicar.<\/p>\n

When a chance of opening a mission in Rwanda presented itself, Fr.\u00a0Tadeusz was included into the three-person founding team. Relieved from his duties as a vicar, he was sent to Brussels for one-year course of French. In August\u00a01984, he arrived in Rwanda, where he first took a course of Kinyaruanda and then began his pastoral work at missionary parishes. In\u00a01985, the residence in Mwange was established under the direct supervision of the Polish Provincial. Father Tadeusz filled the office of the residence treasurer until\u00a01987, when a religious house was established in place of the residence, and he became the second house councilor.<\/p>\n

In\u00a01989, for reasons of Fr.\u00a0Tadeusz\u2019s health, the Provincial Superior called him back from the mission and assigned to the religious house in G\u0142ucho\u0142azy. In\u00a01991-93, he served as the local superior and treasurer of the G\u00f3ra Kalwaria religious house. After completing his term in the local superior\u2019s office, Fr.\u00a0Tadeusz was sent to work at the Our Lady of Mercy Province in England. In\u00a01993-99, in addition to working on improving his English, he served in London as the Provincial Vocations Director and assistant at the Marian parish in Ealing. In\u00a01996-97, he was the rector of the Marian residence at Courtfield Gardens. In\u00a01998, he assisted pastorally at the parish in Bath. In\u00a01999-2002, Fr.\u00a0Tadeusz was the Provincial Councilor and the treasurer of the house in Fawley Court. In\u00a02002, he was transferred to the religious house in Ealing. In\u00a01994-2010, he fulfilled the office of Promoter of the Marian Missions in Great Britain.<\/p>\n

In\u00a02009, President Lech Kaczy\u0144ski decorated Fr.\u00a0Tadeusz with the Golden Cross of Merit for his work on behalf of the Polish-origin circles in Great Britain.<\/p>\n

In\u00a02010, Fr.\u00a0Tadeusz was transferred to Poland to assist with pastoral work at the religious house in G\u00f3ra Kalwaria.<\/p>\n

On July\u00a031,\u00a02012, Fr.\u00a0Tadeusz died in a car accident that occurred near Jad\u00f3w in the vicinity of \u0141och\u00f3w.\u00a0Requiescat in pace!<\/i><\/p>\n<\/div>
