USA\/Poland: Blessed Stanislaus Papczy\u0144ski Medals<\/h1><\/div>

September\u00a016th marks the 5th\u00a0anniversary of the elevation to the altars of the Marian Founder, Blessed Stanislaus Papczy\u0144ski. On this occasion, Br.\u00a0Andrew M\u0105czy\u0144ski,\u00a0MIC, the Vice-Postulator of the Marian Canonization Causes in North America and Asia, commissioned\u00a0Vit-Verit<\/i>, a company from Cz\u0119stochowa (Poland), to mint silver medals bearing the likeness of Blessed Stanislaus. The Founder of the Marians holding a crucifix is presented on the front of the medal. The surrounding inscription reads:\u00a0Beatus Stanislaus Papczy\u0144ski Marianorum ab Immac. Conceptione B.V.M. Fundator\u00a01631-1701<\/i>. The back displays a symbolic image of the Poor Souls in Purgatory, which is to emphasize one of the main features of spirituality of the Blessed and the Congregation, which he raised into existence. The surrounding inscription reads:\u00a0Orate Fratres pro Defunctis<\/i>. As far as we know, these are the first medals in the history of the Congregation that bear the image of the Blessed Founder.<\/p>\n

The medals were minted in response to numerous requests from the venerators of Blessed Stanislaus both in Poland and abroad. They are available from the shrine of Blessed Fr.\u00a0Papczy\u0144ski in Marianki, G\u00f3ra Kalwaria, and the Marian Helpers Center in Warsaw, Poland.
