\"\"On August\u00a025,\u00a02012, the ceremony of solemn blessing was performed for the Marian Formation House in Quezon City (Metro Manila) in the Philippines. The ceremony was presided over and the blessing performed by Bishop Honesto\u00a0F. Ongtioco, the Ordinary of the Diocese of Cubao. Among those attending the event were: Fr.\u00a0Jan Migacz,\u00a0MIC, Superior of the Asian Vicariate; Fr.\u00a0Walerian Po\u017aniak,\u00a0MIC, Rector of The Divine Mercy Shrine in El Salvador City (Mindanao); Fr.\u00a0Mariusz Janiszewski,\u00a0MIC, Novice Master; and Fr.\u00a0Mariusz Jarz\u0105bek,\u00a0MIC, Prefect of Students and Superior of the residence in Quezon City.<\/p>\n

The joy flowing from the opening of the new Marian post in the Philippines\u2019 capital was shared by our friends, neighbors, and Polish missionaries (both male and female) residing in the vicinity of Manila, especially Sisters Handmaids of Mary Immaculately Conceived and Marian Sisters (Congregation of Mary Immaculate) whose delegations attended the event.<\/p>\n

The Marian Formation House serves as a place of residence for the Marian seminarians who, after a period of formation, start their studies of philosophy and theology at the Manila\u2019s ecclesiastical schools. Two seminarians, both from the Philippines, are now residing at the Formation House. They began their studies at the St.\u00a0Thomas Dominican University in Manila (one studies philosophy, the other \u2013 theology). If God is willing, the Formation House shall serve in the future the Marian seminarians from other countries, especially from India.<\/p>\n
