Father Stanislaus will be the first Polish saint canonized in the Jubilee Year of Mercy. Who was he, and why does this historical figure continue to be relevant in the 21st\u00a0century? The answers to these questions will be provided by the movie that will air at\u00a012:40pm, Sunday, March 20, 2016<\/b>, on Channel 1 of Polish Television.<\/p>\n

Father Papczy\u0144ski lived in the 17th\u00a0century. He is remembered as a prophet of the Immaculate Conception of the Mother of God, as a great advocate of praying for the dead, and an ardent patriot and advisor to King John\u00a0III Sobieski. Father Stanislaus\u2019 textbook on rhetoric served many generations of Polish students, including Fr.\u00a0Stanislaw Konarski, Founder of the National Education Commission.<\/p>\n

Blessed Stanislaw is the patron of unborn children, couples wishing to start a family, and children with learning difficulties.<\/p>\n

The movie was produced by the newly created group MARIANUM MEDIA under the auspices of the Association of Marian Helpers and the Fr.\u00a0Stanislaus Papczy\u0144ski Museum.<\/p>\n<\/div>
