Poland: Fr. Jan Bukowicz, MIC, passes away

With deep sorrow we notify our Confreres of the death of a member of the Divine Providence Province in Poland, Fr. Jan Bukowicz, MIC, aged 87, which occurred on January 3, 2012 – the liturgical commemoration of the Most Holy Name of Jesus — while Fr. Jan was celebrating Holy Mass in the religious chapel.

The funeral solemnity will take place Saturday, January 7, 2012, at St. Michael the Archangel Church in Puszcza Mariańska.

Schedule of the event:
8:00 am – Fr. Jan’s earthly remains are laid in state at the old church;
11:15 am – Rosary prayer;
11:45 am – Last farewell; the funeral procession starts to the new church;
Noon – Funeral Mass, followed by the ceremony of interment of the body at the Marian section of the cemetery in Puszcza Mariańska.

We commend the deceased Fr. Jan to The Divine Mercy: May he rest in peace.

United Kingdom: Pilgrimage of The Divine Mercy venerators to Aylesford

On Monday, August 30, 2021, the venerators of The Divine Mercy from Great Britain gathered for their annual pilgrimage at the Shrine of Our Lady of the Assumption and of St. Simon Stock in Aylesford, a shrine which dates back to the 13th century. The Apostolate of Divine Mercy, conducted by the Marian Fathers in London, organized this pilgrimage.
