Poland, Warsaw: Fr. Edward Florczyk, MIC, passed away
With great sorrow we inform our Confreres that Father Edward Dionizy Florczyk, 82, a member of the religious house in Licheń, died at the hospital in Konin at 0:35 am on May 18, 2013, the liturgical celebration of Blessed Stanislaus Papczyński, the Founder of our religious Community.
The funeral solemnities will take place Tuesday, May 21, 2013, at St. Dorothy Church in Licheń: noon – transfer of the remains from the funeral chapel to the church; 12:30 pm – rosary at the coffin; 1:00 pm – concelebrated Holy Mass, followed by interment at the Marian cemetery in Licheń.
We commend the late Fr. Edward to The Divine Mercy: Eternal rest grant him, O Lord. May he rest in peace.
