Poland, Warsaw: New stamps issued by the Polish Postal Service

On the day of Fr. Stanislaus Papczynski’s canonization, the Polish Postal Service issued a new stamp that reads “The canonization of Father Stanislaus’ Papczynski.”

The stamp shows the image of the new Saint and the Marian coat of arms: the figure of Mary Immaculate and the inscription: “Pro Christo et Ecclesia.”

Entire sheet contains 9 stamps, surrounded by 10-ray stars, symbolizing the Mary’s 10 virtues, described by the “Rule of the Ten Virtues of the Blessed Virgin Mary.”
