Grudziądz, Poland: Fr. Gerard Domański, MIC, passed away

With great sorrow we inform our Confreres of the death of Fr. Gerard Domański, MIC, which occurred approx. at 10:00pm on Dec. 1, 2017, at our religious house in Grudziądz.

From 1973–2001, Fr. Gerard was a member of the English Province, and from 1981-1987 he was its provincial superior.

The Deceased was 82 years of age, a member of our Congregation for 66.

The funeral solemnities will take place Thursday, Dec. 7, 2017, at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish Church in Grudziądz: At 11:15 am – the Rosary will be recited At noon – Holy Mass of Christian funeral will be celebrated, after which the body of our Departed Confrere will be deposed at the Marian section of the local cemetery.

We commend the Departed to the Divine Mercy:

Eternal rest grant onto him, O Lord,
And let the eternal light shine upon him.
May he rest in peace.
