The main celebrant of the Mass was Fr. Tomasz Nowaczek, MIC, Superior of the Polish Province. In his homily, he drew attention to the mystery of sin and Divine Mercy. Sin, penetrating the human heart fills it with pain and then gives birth to more sins. Mercy brings liberation.
Today was wholly devoted to the presentation of reports from the various jurisdictions of the Congregation – first from the Brazilian Province (reports from the Polish Province and the American Province were presented yesterday) and then from the various General Vicariates. A plenary discussion on the state of the Congregation is scheduled for tomorrow.
