On January 29 th this year, the parish church in Macedo de Cavaleiros near Balsamão witnessed the perpetual profession of Brother João Paulo de Magalhães Pereira, MIC. In addition to Br. João’s family, the ceremony brought together all members of the Portuguese Vicariate under the leadership of Fr. Jair Batista de Souza, MIC, Superior of the Brazilian Province to which the Marian communities in Portugal belong. Let us commend to our prayers the Marian vocation of Br. João.
