Fr. Eugeniusz Zarzeczny, MIC, was born in Kraśnik in 1966. He entered the Congregation of Marian Fathers in 1985; he took his first vows in Skórzec on September 8, 1986. He completed his seminary studies at the Marian Seminary in Lublin and was ordained a priest on June 7, 1992, in Licheń, by Bronislaw Dembowski, bishop of Włocławek. He served his first year of priesthood in Elblag, and then was sent to study theology at Centre Sèvres in Paris, finishing with a licentiate degree in theology. In 1998 he was sent to Lublin, where at the  Marian Fathers Seminary he served as prefect of seminarians, vice-rector and superior of the religious house. On April 13, 2005, he was elected Vice-Provincial of the Polish Province of the Congregation of Marian Fathers, an office he held for two six-year terms. During this time, he resided at the religious house in Warsaw’s Stegny district, also serving as its superior for several years. In 2017 he was transferred to the seminary house in Lublin, where he served as spiritual father of seminarians for another 6 years.

The Provincial Chapter also elected the remaining members of the Provincial Council; Fr. Tomasz Sekulski, MIC, rector of the Marian Fathers’ Seminary in Lublin, was elected Vicar Provincial, II councilor was elected Fr. Lukasz Wiśniewski, MIC, director of the Association of Marian Helpers, III councilor is Fr. Artur Radacki, MIC, superior of the religious house in Elblag, and IV councilor is Fr. Jacek Rygielski, MIC, rector of the residence at Courtfield Gardens in London, UK.
