On July 12, Bishop Vincent Harolimana gave the sacrament of ordination to 10 men in Ruhengeri, Rwanda. 3 were ordained to the rank of diaconate and 7 to the rank of presbyterate, among them, 2 members of our Community: Fr. Noël Singizumukiza, MIC, and Fr. Celestine Ntazimana, MIC, who spent part of his priestly formation in Poland in the Major Seminary of the Marian Fathers in Lublin.
Mass lasted almost 5 hours and 30 minutes, and gathered around 5,000 faithful – it was a true spiritual feast of prayer, singing, and joy!
We thank God for the gift of new vocation to the Marians and pray for the newly ordained.
Let them be faithful witnesses of Christ wherever they are sent!
