On the evening of Monday, May 18, 2026, during Holy Mass celebrated by the local pastor, Canon Antoni Dewor, a ceremony was held in the parish church to bless a new painting of St. Stanislaus Papczyński. The event brought together parishioners and guests who joined in prayer and witnessed the special moment of the painting’s installation in the Church of the Most Holy Name of the Virgin Mary.
The painting, created by artist Anita Kałuża-Sitnik of Kąty Wrocławskie, arrived at the church directly from the artist’s studio. The work depicts St. Stanislaus Papczyński in a spiritual connection with Mary, highlighting the saint’s special bond with the Mother of God and the Marian character of our parish. The artistic composition and symbolism of the painting caught the attention of those attending the ceremony, providing an opportunity to reflect on the spiritual legacy of the Founder of the Marians.
An important moment of the Eucharistic celebration was the rite of blessing the image of the Marian Order’s founder. The prayer was accompanied by an atmosphere of contemplation and gratitude for the newly created work, which from now on will enrich the interior of the church and serve the faithful as a sign of prayer and entrustment to the Mother of God.
The new image of St. Stanislaus Papczyński has become not only a decorative element of the church but also an important symbol of the parish community’s spiritual identity, reminding us of the values of faith, humility, and devotion to Mary.
