The ordination to the priesthood took place in Karumathur, the 6th of June, 2025 on the grounds of the Claretian’s School near our Divine Mercy Seminary. His Excellency Bishop Lourdu Anandam, Bishop of the Diocese of Sivahngai, presided over the liturgy of the Eucharist, during which 4 deacons: Sesuraj, Maria Selvam, Manoj and Sursh Kumar received the sacrament of priesthood. Also present was Vicar General of the Marians Fr. Jovanete Vieira, MIC from Rome.The priestly ordinations took place in a joyful and grateful atmosphere among many faithful from the parishes of our newly ordained priests. The liturgy was attended by the entire Marian community in India, in which we currently have nine priests and two brothers.
Let us pray through the intercession of Mary Immaculate and our Holy Father Founder Stanislaus of Jesus and Mary Papczyński for blessing and grace of holiness for them.
