On July 16, 2026, on the feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, three more of our Vietnamese confreres made their perpetual vows. The ceremony took place in the chapel of our motherhouse in Saigon. The new perpetually professed members are: 27-year-old Br. John the Baptist Trần Xuân Đại, 29-year-old Br. Joseph Nguyễn Văn Đường, and 31-year-old Br. Peter Trần Văn Thăng. They made their vows before the Vicar General, Fr. Jovanete Vieira, MIC, who traveled from Rome to received their vows on behalf of the Father General. The Mass was presided over by the Superior of the Vietnamese Vicariate, Fr. Bogusław Gil, MIC, who also delivered the homily. In addition to the nine Vietnamese priests concelebrating the Mass, as well as several sisters from various religious congregations, many family members of our newly perpetually professed members and a large group of neighbors were present. By God’s grace, our young Marian community in Vietnam now counts six native perpetually professed members. We ask everyone to pray for them, that they may persevere and grow in the spirit of our Father and Founder, St. Stanislaus of Jesus and Mary Papczyński, while serving the Mystery of the Immaculate Conception of Mary.
