On August 31, 2026, the new novitiate house for the Cameroonian Vicariate was inaugurated at our mission in Minkama. On that day, during the celebration of the Eucharist in the novitiate chapel, two postulants—Fabris and Clovice—were admitted to the novitiate.
Subsequently, on September 1, during a Holy Mass celebrated at the diocesan Shrine of St. John Paul II in Minkama—which is run by the Marians—three novices made their first vows: Zidane Vadè, Olivier Junior, and Robert Stone, who had completed their novitiate at the formation house in Ngoya.
On the same day, nine confreres renewed their temporary vows—seven in Cameroon and two in Poland, at the Shrine of Our Lady in Licheń. Two other confreres had already renewed their vows earlier: Br. Elise on August 6 and Br. Yannick on August 28. In addition, five candidates were admitted to the postulancy.
On September 8, the Feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, five brothers from the Rwandan vicariate, who are pursuing studies in philosophy and theology in Cameroon, renewed their vows.
We are grateful to God for the gift of vocations in our Community in Cameroon, and we pray constantly for new candidates to join our Congregation. We surround our young confreres with fraternal prayer, that they may remain steadfast in their Marian vocation and grow in it.
