On March 18, 2017, the Church celebrates St. Joseph – the Spouse of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The following participated in holy Mass at St. Joseph seminary in Vilnius, Lithuania: Archbishop Gintaras Grusas, Bishop Arunas Poniskaitis, seminary rector Rev. H. F. Fischer, vice-rector Rev. A. Shushkevich, Rev. S. Buzauskas, professor of propaedeutic, as well as Fr. T. Miliauskas, MIC, S. Puidokas, MIC, and the fourth-year seminarian V. Širvinskis.
The fifth-year seminarian Giedrius Juozas Bakunas, MIC was introduced into the service of acolyte.
In his homily, the Archbishop Gintaras Grusas emphasized the seminarians’ responsibility for spreading the Word of God and giving witness to Good News among people, for this is the light that emanates from the Eucharistic table and strengthens us all.
