2nd session of the Provincial Chapter of the Marian Fathers in the U.S.
On May 16-18, 2017, 2nd session of the Provincial Chapter of the B.V.M., Mother of Mercy Province was celebrated in Stockbridge, MA. The Chapter acknowledged the results of the universal vote, by which Fr. Kazimierz Chwalek, MIC was elected Provincial Superior for his second term in the office, as well as elected four provincial councilors in the following order: Fr. Donald Calloway, MIC; Fr. James McCormack, MIC; Fr. Andrew Davy, MIC; and Fr. Kenneth DosSantos, MIC.
The Marian Fathers and Brothers participating in the Chapter also reviewed the Provincial Statutes, into which they introduced slight corrections and additions. The Chapter’s proceedings were closed with the communal vespers and the recitation of the hymn Te Deum Laudamus, which took place at the National Shrine on Eden Hill.
